Eels winger Josh Addo-Carr has allegedly tested positive for cocaine after a roadside drug test.

9News Sydney reporter Bailey Kenzie revealed the news after Addo-Carr was stopped in Newtown in Sydney on Friday night.

Parramatta confirmed they are aware of the incident involving the former State of Origin star and have notified the NRL integrity unit.

The 31-year-old was sacked by Canterbury two years ago after testing positive for cocaine.
