Josh Addo-Carr is reportedly set to be sacked by the Eels after allegedly testing positive to cocaine during a roadside drug test.
According to Code Sports, the Parramatta flyer was stopped by police on Friday night where the test was conducted, which subsequently produced the positive result.
Addo-Carr is reportedly facing the axe, with Eels powerbrokers made aware of the incident.

NSW Police provided foxsports.com.au with a statement.
“About 11.10pm on Friday (11 September 2026), officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were patrolling Enmore Road, Newtown, when they stopped the driver of a vehicle for random testing,” the statement read.
“The driver – a 31-year-old man – was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a negative result.
“The driver underwent a preliminary drug wipe, which allegedly returned a positive indication for cocaine.
“An oral fluid sample was obtained and sent for further analysis.
“The investigation is ongoing, as police await the results of the forensic analysis.”

Meanwhile, the NRL Integrity Unit has also been informed and Parramatta have released a statement.
“The Parramatta Eels are aware of an alleged incident involving Josh Addo-Carr,” the statement read.
“The club has notified the NRL Integrity Unit and is cooperating with the appropriate processes, as well as providing welfare support to Josh and his family.
“The Parramatta Eels will not be commenting further until the matter has been finalised.”
Addo-Carr has previously been sacked from an NRL club due to a drug-related event during his time at the Bulldogs, testing positive for cocaine during the latter stages of the 2024 season.
The gun winger was stood down by the club, despite his defiant denials he took any illegal substances.
However, a roadside drug wipe and a secondary oral sample both returned positive results for cocaine, which led the Bulldogs to terminate his contract on October 31, 2024.

In a statement to the Daily Telegraph on Saturday night, Addo-Carr’s management said: “Josh Addo-Carr and his management are aware of reports concerning a recent alleged incident.
“Josh is currently seeking professional support and is committed to prioritising his health and wellbeing.
“We respectfully ask that the privacy of Josh and his family be respected during this difficult time.
“As the matter is subject to an ongoing process, no further comment will be made at this stage. Josh is determined to address the challenges before him.”
