Aussies are being urged to quit using the Bunnings Trade Centre section when they head to the hardware store.
There are hundreds of Bunnings locations across the country with dedicated sections for tradies.
But carpenter Connor Wood told Yahoo Lifestyle he’s sick of seeing everyday Aussies sneak into the area to make their shop easier.
Connor wished people would stop parking in and using the Trade Centre at Bunnings if they’re not a tradie.

“It gives me the s**ts because they take up the space that’s for tradies,” he said.
“If you go through there, you’re in and out really quickly, as it’s literally right next to your car.”
Normal shoppers are meant to park in the regular section and walk a few dozen metres to the store entrance. Whereas Trade Centres can have parking bays much closer.

The Centre is where you’d find a lot of stuff tradies would need every day, such as timber, plumbing supplies, power tools, safety equipment, and paint.
Connor’s gripe was that even though it’s designed for them to nip in and nip out, he gets stuck behind regular Aussies who are looking to complete DIY projects.
He told Yahoo Lifestyle that these sneaky shoppers know they can grab items much faster than if they went into the normal part of the store, which slows down tradies trying to get back to their worksites.
‘You’ll see them walking back to their car, and you’re like, ‘What are you guys doing?'”

The chippie said he can sometimes be down at Bunnings up to three times a day, and if he’s held up by regular folk who just want to save themselves some time, then it can be a huge headache.
But shoppers have also used the Trade Centre section just for “easier access” to the main hardware store.
A tradie was fuming in 2023 when he noticed this and parked them in to teach them a lesson.
Apparently, Bunnings staff even tried to get him to move by making an announcement over the tannoy, but he wouldn’t budge.

“This one’s for every tradie that’s been held up during the week at Bunnings by people that use the trade entry as easy access, taking their sweet time and looking through the nursery,” they said.
“Listening to the calls over the speaker for the ute to be moved and, well, that just made me take my time and let them know that’s how we feel during the week when we’re trying to get work done and are held up by them.
“Big thanks to the builder in the black ute – he saw what I did and just sat in his ute keeping the mayhem boiling along, enjoying every minute.”
However, his post was filled with comments stating that regular shoppers were allowed to use Bunnings’ loading bay if they cannot purchase items, such a bulky goods or timber, through the normal checkout.
