Bigg Boss 20’s first weekend ka vaar turned out to be an emotional and special for Qazi Touqeer as he received appreciation from host Salman Khan himself. The Fame Gurukul winner, who has taken the internet by storm by his energetic personality and fun antics. He has become one of the most talked-about housemates in the first week and Salman Khan took a notice of it.Salman Khan started the episode by praising Qazi Touqeer for being one of the most noticeable personalities in the house. The Bollywood superstar says, “Iss ghar main kitne bhi stars hai, rockstar toh ek hi hai Qazi Touqeer. That’s not all, Salman Khan informed Qazi that Bigg Boss has arranged a concert for him in the activity room. All the contestants gathered in the activity room as Salman went on to talk about Qazi’s struggle even after winning Fame Gurukul. He praised his determination and patients in the last 20 years. He compared his struggle story in the industry with Hollywood star John Travolta and Race 3 actor Bobby Deol.He said, “John Travolta didn’t get work for 20 years, but he never gave up. Bobby Deol also went through a difficult phase despite having delivered big hits. In the same way, Qazi kept going and is now here.”Qazi got emotional after Salman Khan appreciated his hard work and perseverance in the last 20 years. Qazi, who was a contestant on Fame Gurukul along with Arijit Singh, shares a close bond with the Aashiqui 2 singer. The two have remained friends even after 20 years of the show. Arijit recently tweeted on his X account and shared that for the first time, he would be watching Bigg Boss for his friend Qazi Touqeer.

Qazi Touqeer won the show Fame Gurukul along with Ruprekha Banerjee in 2005. He was voted by the Indian public to be the winner of Fame Gurukul, India’s version of Fame Academy. He released a new album out along with Ruprekha at the end of 2005. Qazi had no formal training before Fame Gurukul. He injured himself while rehearsing for his acting debut film, Take Off. Qazi was rehearsing at Ganesh Acharya Studios when he fell down and injured his neck.
