Yeti just launched its first iPhone case, and the rugged design includes more than the brand’s familiar logo. The new Yeti LoadOut Phone Case features military-grade drop protection, a rotating MagSafe-compatible kickstand and tie-down slots for attaching a wrist tether or lanyard.
The Yeti LoadOut Phone Case costs $70 and fits the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It comes in 11 finishes, including Black, Charcoal, Navy, Dusk, King Crab Orange, Celestial Blue, Olive/King Crab Orange, Clear, Clear Black, Clear Navy and Clear Dusk.

Yeti developed the case with outdoor and off-grid use in mind. Its TripleShot Protection system uses three compact protective layers, with extra cushioning around areas most vulnerable to damage. Non-slip, shockproof edges provide additional impact protection, and the case meets the military-grade MIL-STD-810H drop-protection standard.
Raised rubber bezels help protect the screen and camera lenses when the phone rests on a flat surface. The case also has responsive button covers, including a camera control that lets users open the camera, change settings, take photos and adjust the zoom without removing the case.
What makes the Yeti LoadOut Phone Case different?
The MagSafe-compatible ring on the back of the Yeti LoadOut Phone Case doubles as an adjustable kickstand. It rotates to support the phone at different angles for watching videos, taking group photos or recording outdoor adventures without holding the device.
Two tie-down slots near the bottom accommodate a wrist tether or lanyard. This feature can provide extra security during hiking, boating, travel and other activities where dropping a phone could be an expensive mistake.
The case is compatible with wireless charging and tap-to-pay features. Yeti recommends removing the phone before carefully washing the case by hand.
