EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – The Eau Claire Sculpture Tour is raising funds to keep one popular rotating sculpture in the community permanently.

Sunny is the dog sculpture downtown outside the U.S. Bank building. The sculpture was created by artist Alex Zamesin and is made entirely from recycled rubber tires.

Sunny was a late addition to the Eau Claire Sculpture Tour and is on temporary display, but the tour is now raising money to purchase the sculpture and keep Sunny where he is.

According to Visit Eau Claire, Sunny is one of the most photographed stops on the sculpture tour.

The goal is to raise $18,000 to purchase the sculpture. Click here for details on how to donate.
