Efes will have to start the 2025-26 season without big man Vincent Poirier

Anadolu Efes center Vincent Poirier will miss at least four months of action due to a knee injury he suffered during the EuroBasket training camp.
Poirier will be operated on Tuesday (26/8) in his native France.
During the 2024-25 EuroLeague season, Poirier averaged 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 21:21 minutes.

Our talented player, Vincent Poirier, will undergo surgery in France on Tuesday for the knee injury he sustained while playing for the French national team.
The player is expected to be sidelined for at least four months, and his return to the field will be re-evaluated after the surgery.
