The Wallaroos will begin their 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign as they face Samoa in Salford.

The tournament got underway earlier today as hosts England took care of the USA easily.

Now, the Australians are out for a perfect start against their Pacific neighbours just outside of Manchester.

Lock Kaitlan Leaney co-captains the side for the first time alongside flanker Emily Chancellor.

Meanwhile, ten players will make their World Cup debut, including 18-year-old Caitlyn Halse, who becomes the youngest Australian ever to play at the hallmark event.
