The country’s biggest GP software provider, Best Practice, has led a $5.4 million capital raising for Medcast, an artificial intelligence-powered search engine for clinicians.
Best Practice, 49 per cent owned by the $9.7 billion Sonic Healthcare, has tipped $1.5 million into a private fundraising round for Medcast, which was founded in 2013 by Dr Stephen Barnett.
