SHORT TO PURSUE TRADE FROM TIGERS
Jayden Short is reportedly seeking a move away from Richmomd.
Multiple reports state the dual premiership Tiger is set to explore a trade away from the club in next month’s exchange window, having recently returned from a trip.
Short, who turns 31 in January, is contracted for 2027.

Collingwood coach Craig McRae has already reportedly spoken with Short, while St Kilda is also among the clubs chasing the halfback.
He’s set to meet with suitors in the coming weeks.
“He’s been away and come back now and after meeting with him today, he will be looking at his options for 2027,” Short’s manager Anthony McConville said in a statement to AFL Media.

Carlton ruckman Flynn Riley wants to be a Magpie.
AFL Media reports Riley is seeking a move to Collingwood on a three-year deal after Carlton offered the mid-season draftee a two-year extension.
It’s understood the 22-year old informed Carlton of his decision on Monday.
Riley joined the Blues with Pick 4 in the mid-season draft out of the club’s VFL side.
The big man made his AFL debut in the Round 18 loss to Hawthorn in his only senior appearance for Josh Fraser’s side.
