RARE vision of the one-off Legends of Motorsport karting event featuring some of the biggest names in Australian motorsport has been unearthed over 30 years since it was held.
The brainchild of Neil Crompton and held in the Sydney Entertainment Centre in late 1995, the event was modelled on the popular Elf Masters karting event from Europe.
Won by speedway star Brooke Tatnell, the event featured a who’s-who of the sport at the time, including Peter Brock, Dick Johnson, Wayne Gardner, Glenn Seton, Mark Skaife, Brad Jones, Tony Longhurst, Neal Bates and many more.
With thanks to Crompton and his AirTime Media team, V8 Sleuth has been given access to a range of vision from the one-off event
The final of the Legends of Motorsport event has been uploaded to V8 Sleuth’s YouTube Channel below for race fans to enjoy.
