Being a leader today is not easy. Geopolitical unrest, economic uncertainty, and the unceasing development of artificial intelligence make it impossible to predict what the next few months will look like, let alone the next few years.
But as Telstra chief executive Vicki Brady told the authors of the University of Sydney’s 2027 Skills Horizon report: “In times of rapid change, waiting for certainty is rarely an option. The role of leaders is not to have all the answers, but to create momentum while learning along the way.”
