The Baltimore Ravens (1-1) and Dallas Cowboys (1-1) travel south of the equator for a clash in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Baltimore was stunned by New Orleans blowing 14-3 and 17-9 leads at home, while Dallas smoked Washington 37-20 behind a quick 10-0 start and four passing touchdowns from Dak Prescott. If this game was in Dallas or Baltimore, it would be one of the games of the week, but in another country, well this is must-see TV. My only complaint is this matchup isn’t at 9 or 10 AM Eastern. I mean come on! This game deserves its own slot.
The Cowboys beat the Commanders 37-20 after losing in Week 1 to the Giants, 28-20. The Dallas defense allowed 165 and 182 rushing yards in two games and forced two fumbles through two weeks. The Cowboys ranked last in points per game allowed last year (30.1) and rank tied for 18th at 24.0 points per game. That side of the ball is still a work in progress, but the offense was cooking with three-straight scoring drives to start the game against Washington and seven scores on eight possessions!
Baltimore absolutely routed the Colts in Week 1, beating Indy 41-23 and we’re off to a great start with New Orleans halfway through the second with a 14-3 lead. However, the “poor man’s Josh Allen” had something to say about that. Baltimore’s lone turnover was a last-minute Lamar Jackson interception in the red zone in an attempt to tie the game. The Ravens outgained the Saints, 312-298 and went 4-of-9 on third downs and averaged 5.6 yards per play. Jackson posted 269 total yards and threw a touchdown, while Derrick Henry punched in a score and ran for 68 yards on 16 carries. Rashod Bateman also scored from 22 yards out en route to 88 yards on seven receptions.
Let’s dive into the numbers and see if we can’t find an additional sweat or two.

Expert picks & predictions for Ravens vs Cowboys
Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) leans the Ravens Team Toal Over 27.5 and game Over 52.5:
“If Ronnie Stanley and Zay Flowers are good to go, then the Ravens team total Over 27.5 will likely be my best bet for this game, unless we get a first half team total at 13.5 or less. The Ravens offense versus the Cowboys defense is the most advantageous matchup in this game. Dallas could be without three starters on defense and if Stanley and Flowers are ready, then it could be a 30-piece outing for Baltimore. The total of 52.5 is appealing too as stopping CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens will be trouble for Kyle Hamilton and this Ravens secondary. I see a lot of chunk plays on both sides, but basically Overs will be good bets in this battle in the southern hemisphere. I think the Ravens win and would be a bet at -150 or better on the ML.”

Quarterback matchup for Ravens vs Cowboys
· Baltimore: Lamar Jackson – Jackson didn’t shy away from reporters on how he felt after a 24-17 loss to New Orleans in Week 2. The Ravens scored on three of eight drives as Jackson was bottled up to four carries for 34 yards. Jackson had 40 yards on seven attempts in Week 1, so he hasn’t had that breakout game on the ground yet, but it’s early. Jackson’s yards per completion dropped from 13.0 versus the Colts to 7.6 against the Saints, so expect some deep shots against the Cowboys secondary. Baltimore only had three plays of 20-plus yards against New Orleans. You can bet your bottom dollar that Jackson will be looking for chunk plays in Brazil.
· Dallas: Dak Prescott – Prescott was on fire against Washington. He tossed four touchdowns which is something he did only twice in 2025, zero times in 2024, and four times in 2023. He threw for 279 yards and completed 26 out of 31 passes (83.9%) — the best completion percentage since 1/7/24 in a 38-10 win over the Commanders (31/36) — a stretch of 27 games. As long as CeeDee Lamb (8/153/2) and George Pickens (6/40/0) are healthy, the Cowboys are a threat to make the playoffs and Prescott is a top-10 quarterback.
