The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ preseason opener, a home contest against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Friday evening, was canceled due to an unspecified mechanical issue at Mohegan Arena.
The Penguins have two more contests remaining this preseason:
Sunday – at Hershey Bears, 3 p.m.
Tuesday – at Phantoms, 7:05 p.m.
