FOR the fifth time in as many years, Grove Racing will unleash a special Repco Bathurst 1000 livery.

The Penrite-backed Ford team enters this year’s Great Race as the defending winners, following Matt Payne and Garth Tander’s heroics in the epic 2025 edition.

The squad hasn’t given any hints as to what its Mount Panorama warpaint will look like this time around, merely that something fresh is coming – as was announced via a light-hearted social media clip.

It’s worth noting that this year marks the centenary of the Penrite business, for which a recent gala brought together Payne, Tander and their retired Bathurst-winning chassis.

Grove Racing runs the numbers #19 and #26 in Supercars as a nod to Penrite’s founding year.

Primary drivers Payne and Kai Allen will team up with respective co-drivers Will Davison and Tim Slade for the October 8-11 meeting.
