GARRY Rogers Motorsport has unveiled the final version of its Repco Bathurst 1000 wildcard livery, with a major addition.

The legendary HDT brand, which has been purchased by Kenny Habul, is now backing the #34 Camaro to be shared by James Moffat and Nathan Herne.

“Growing up in the 1970’s you either loved Brock or Moffat. In my case it was Brock and it was because of how cool the HDT logo was,” said GRM director Barry Rogers.

“I remember drawing pictures of race cars at kindergarten, all adorned with the HDT logo.

“I am tremendously proud, as I know that Dad would be to have HDT supporting GRM at Bathurst.”

A HDT spokesperson said: “HDT and Garry Rogers Motorsport are two great Australian motorsport names with enormous history at Mount Panorama.

“Bringing the brands together for the Repco Bathurst 1000 feels incredibly fitting, and we’re proud to be part of GRM’s wildcard campaign at Australia’s greatest race.”

Also worth noting about the livery are the number of tributes to the late Garry Rogers, including the placement of his name alongside both drivers, and a special image/message on the dashboard.
