An Aussie cult bakery has sent foodies and beauty lovers into a spin after making a shock jump onto Woolworths supermarket shelves nationwide.
Manly-born cookie empire ButterBoy has officially joined forces with personal care giant Dove to drop a limited-edition, dessert-inspired body care range designed to make your daily shower smell like a fresh batch of baked goods.

The unexpected union takes ButterBoy’s signature doughy flavours and bakes them directly into Dove’s Advanced Care formulas.
The initial line-up features the Birthday Cake Cookie Vanilla Body Wash (700ml) and matching Birthday Cake Cookie Vanilla 72H Antiperspirant Aerosol, boasting notes of warm vanilla, malted milk, caramelised white chocolate, and birthday sprinkles.
Coming in mid-October, a chocolate-and-cherry Black Forest Cookie Exfoliating Body Polish is set to hit Woolies aisles to complete the sweet trio.
Does it smell like a real cookie?
Social media fragrance tester Nectorious Papi got his hands on the collection to give shoppers a personal review.
Having watched similar viral food-meets-beauty drops blow up overseas — such as the massive Crumbl Cookies collab in the US — he welcomed seeing an Aussie brand get a turn.
“I love the collab,” Nectorious Papi told news.com.au.
“I knew about the Crumbl one in the USA, so this was cool to see with an Aussie brand.
“It smells like vanilla to me, with hints of cookie.”
When asked about the 72-hour antiperspirant spray, he noted that while it leans heavily into sweet gourmand notes, it remains an easy wear for anyone.
“For those who like vanilla notes, then yes, they will like it,” he said.
“I do feel it will appeal to females more than males, but it’s unisex for sure.”
Nectorious Papi says he is very “keen” on trying the scrub that comes out later this month, and calls the whole collaboration “fun”.
‘An unexpected pairing’
ButterBoy founder and owner James Sideris defended the wild crossover, saying the partnership makes complete sense once you experience it.
“We love working with brands where at first the pairing feels a little unexpected, but the more you think about it, the more it makes sense,” Mr Sideris said.
“We’ve taken some of our best-loved cookie flavours, like birthday cake, and brought them into people’s everyday routines in a way that feels both fun and true to the ButterBoy brand.”
Unilever ANZ’s Head of Marketing Personal Care, David Rebetzke, added that the goal was to turn mundane shower routines into moments of “pure, playful indulgence”.
Social media reacts
Fans of both the brands were very eager to grab some of the limited-edition stock, and appeared to be very excited by the launch on social media.
“I’m so excited for this,” one person commented on Instagram.
“I need this,” a second person wrote.
“I’m keen to try this collab,” a third expressed.
“I love it,” a fourth chimed in.
The limited-edition drop is only available while stocks last.
