Matt Klitscher

In need of an escape? You’ll find it in Blue Murder Motel, which takes us to the glorious New Zealand coast where two “former” detectives are juggling running a motel with solving local murders and crimes. Their new life making their way in the hospitality business is soon cut short as Vinny (Michala Banas) and Cole (Brett Tucker) are confronted with a constant stream of crimes associated with their new venture. Think freak accidents, missing people – and poisonings. If you’re a fan of Midsomer Murders, this is even better. Arriving on ITVX on Sunday 4th October.

Elizabeth Day’s 2017 novel is coming to the small screen and it doesn’t disappoint. The series revolves around the reunion of two former elite boarding school students, Martin Gilmour (Luke Evans) and Ben Fitzmaurice (Tom Cullen), at a lavish 40th birthday party in a country manor. Martin is now a journalist, while Ben is a politician and their reunion sparks a confrontation that neither could have prepared themselves – or anyone around them – for. Arriving on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 11th October.
