Australian actor Chris Hemsworth was every inch the proud dad last week, thanks to his daughter India Rose Hemsworth winning a rodeo bull-riding competition.

The Thor star, who is based in NSW’s Byron Bay with his actress wife Elsa Pataky and their family, gushed about the 14-year-old sweeping the competition and taking home the top spot, with India Rose being the only girl in the competition who beat all the boys.

Hemsworth, 43, shared video of India Rose during the competition and affectionately called her a “savage”.

The star captioned his post: “Just wanna say my daughter is a savage. Only girl in the comp and took home the win [muscle emoji] proud moment [love heart].”

Fellow Hollywood star Jason Momoa, 47, was impressed with the feat and commented underneath alongside flame and love heart emojis: “Bro insane.”

Scott Eastwood, Lily James, Aussie WAG Bec Judd and surfing legend Mick Fanning all commented on the post as well.

“The God of Thunder raised a total warrior ..! Like father.. like daughter..!!” One follower remarked under the rodeo clip, which Hemsworth shared to his more than 58.1 million followers.

He also shared a video of the pair together at the rodeo, where they spoke about how long you need to stay on the bull during the competition.

“Here she is, champion bull-rider. How are you feeling, Indi? Think you can hang on, seven seconds? Ten?” Hemsworth said.

India corrected her dad, saying you have to hang on for eight seconds.

“Eight seconds, what do I know?” The actor joked.

Chris and Fast and Furious star Elsa, 50, who have been married since 2010, also share twin sons Sasha and Tristan,  12.

Earlier this year, the family enjoyed a trip to Costa Rica, and Hemsworth shared with fans a post about his kids’ adventurous spirit.

“Costa Rica photo dump.. my kids continue to crush all the extreme, adrenaline pumping activities no matter where we are,” he wrote in his post.

The star, who previously appeared on shows including Neighbours and Home and Away, previously shared with fans how he actually popped the question to his now-wife, who hails from Spain.

Speaking on Nova’s Fitzy, Wippa & Kate, the star said implied it was pretty low-key.

“We talked about getting married, before I even asked her to get married, and it was like, ‘Yeah, why not, why not?’” he said.

“So that kind of takes the air of the build up.”

“It felt like a why not, I’ve got nothing better at the moment, we’ll see how it goes type of energy.”
