Video has emerged of Richmond triple-premiership hero Trent Cotchin being bowled over by a car while cycling.
The footage from Dan Gorringe’s Dandoesfooty Instagram account shows the Brownlow Medallist riding along a suburban footpath.
Cotchin appears not to see a white car pulling out of a driveway and takes a tumble on to the grass when they collide.
He quickly dusts himself off and both parties go their separate ways.
“Mutual hit and run,” said one comment on the post.
Gorringe complimented Cotchin’s response.
“Wish I was this tough,” he said.
“Hahahaha,” Cotchin replied.
One commenter joked the driver may have been Jobe Watson on a mission to get his Brownlow back.
Cotchin was awarded the 2012 medal retrospectively after Watson was stripped of it over the Essendon supplements scandal.
Another commenter remarked that Cotchin got up quicker than Dylan Shiel in the 2017 preliminary final.
Cotchin famously avoided suspension after an incident with Shiel and went on to premiership glory the week after.
