Professional Fighters League (PFL) is less than 24 hours in front of its debut in Morocco, part of a broader PFL Africa initiative that develops and fosters mixed martial arts (MMA) in a largely untapped region. While Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) continues to ignore pleas from its top African stars, and champions of African descent, PFL is charging forward with some of the most recognizable names on the continent.
That includes CrossFit Games athlete and seven-time African Sambo Champion Sanaa Mandar, who rematches 21-year-old Nigerian phenom Jane Osigwe as part of the PFL Morocco fight card on Sat. night (Oct. 10, 2026) from inside Mohammad V Sports Complex in Casablanca. The entire 11-bout lineup, headlined by the titanic tilt between heavyweight hurters Abdoulaye Kane and Badr Medkouri, will stream exclusively on the Starzplay network at 1 p.m. ET.
Elsewhere on the card, finalists will be determined in the bantamweight, lightweight, and welterweight divisions, with winners moving on to compete for $100,000 in prize money and the right to be called best in class later this year. All 22 fighters came face-to-face earlier today in Casablanca for the official PFL Africa: “Morocco” weigh ins, embedded above.
