We know one thing for certain, and that is the fact that today is a great day for some college football.

Here’s some stories and games we’re keeping a close eye on today.

No. 2 Georgia at No. 6 Alabama

This is most arguably the game of the day — maybe even the season thus far.

The last time the Bulldogs went to Tuscaloosa and won was in 2007 with Matthew Stafford at quarterback and Mark Richt at the program’s helm.

Georgia won 26–23 in overtime in Nick Saban’s first year at Alabama. It was the first time the Bulldogs had beaten the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa since 1916.

With Chauncey Bowens, Amaris Williams and Isiah Canion out due to injury, Georgia’s second strings will have some big shoes to fill.

Despite some weather concerns due to Hurricane Isaias, the two will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.

No. 7 Indiana faces an undefeated Nebraska team

The Cornhuskers, who are unranked, are 5-0 on the season for the first time since 2016.

With both No. 7 Indiana and Nebraska being undefeated, each team needs a win.

Indiana brings a 21-game win streak to the table, while the Cornhuskers look to snap a multi-year slump against ranked opponents.

The 122nd Red River Rivalry is here

No. 1 Texas leads Oklahoma 65–51–5 in the hundred-plus year old Red River Rivalry.

The Longhorns beat the Sooners in Dallas last season 23-6, taking home the coveted Golden Hat.

Coming into the season at No. 10 in the AP Preseason Top 25, expectations were high for the Sooners. Oklahoma fell to Michigan and No. 2 Georgia, dropping them out of the rankings.

A John Mateer versus Arch Manning matchup will be something to see, that’s for sure.

Some underrated games you don’t want to miss

No. 10 LSU will head to Lexington to face Kentucky, who has been a sneaky team this season with unexpected bursts.

The Wildcats had a strong start against No. 6 Alabama in Week 2, but lost 45-17. Both teams are 4-1, with the Tigers losing to Ole Miss on the road.

For the afternoon slate, don’t forget about No. 21 UCLA versus No. 13 Oregon.

The Ducks will start quarterback Dylan Raiola after Dante Moore continues to recover from a concussion he endured against Southern Cal.
