The Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers begin the National League Championship Series with Game 1 on Sunday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee, with a high-octane pitching battle.
The left-hander started twice against the Brewers this season, both six-inning starts at home — he allowed four runs in a no-decision in Detroit on April 23, then gave up two runs (one earned) at Dodger Stadium in a loss on August 16.
Jacob Misiorowski, the heavy favorite to win the National League Cy Young Award this season, makes his second start this season. He struck out six on October 3 against the San Diego Padres but was pulled after only four innings and two runs in, 88 pitches in.
In three career games against the Dodgers, including last year’s NLCS, Misiorowski has a 1.59 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 17 innings.
