This new multipart plastic kit contains 10 cavalry miniatures that can be built as either Skeleton Horsemen or Skeleton Horse Archers, each offering a different tactical option. The Horsemen can be armed with either a cavalry spear or sword to go with their shields, and the kit includes interchangeable heads, making it easy to customise your undead hordes.

You can run these miniatures as a single unit of 10 or two smaller units of five, and each set of five has enough parts to build a full command section including a champion, musician,* and banner bearer – whether Horsemen or Horse Archers.

As the unstoppable Khemrian legions march forwards with ranks of shielded warriors and regiments of archers filling the sky with deadly arrows, the Skeleton Horsemen and Horse Archers fill a vital skirmishing role by using their raw speed to sweep around enemy flanks before hitting them where it hurts the most. They’re especially effective at picking off war engine teams and vulnerable support units, while your heavier units fight over the centre ground.

The new Skeleton Horsemen will be riding into action soon. Grab a copy of Warhammer: The Old World – Ravening Hordes so that you have the rules you need to use the new miniatures in your games.

* And for those asking how can a skeleton blow a trumpet when they don’t have any lungs, the answer is simple – magic.
