The competition regulator is sitting on a “huge pipeline” of cartel conduct cases and is preparing to launch its first investigations into possible price-gouging by Coles and Woolworths, says chairwoman Gina Cass-Gottlieb.
Earlier this week, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission launched court actions against Australia’s biggest egg supplier, Sunny Queen, and 11 other producers, alleging they coordinated in the production and supply of eggs.
