For the past 15 years, Teach, Speak and Hear (TSH) has been helping children with hearing, speech and language difficulties with the help of funding from Telethon and Chevron Australia.
Chevron Australia pledged $1.5 million to Telethon today to continue TSH’s important work across WA.
“Over the past 15 years, TSH has delivered over 16,000 ear health screenings and through that partnership, they’re able to connect kids to care sooner. That early intervention is helping kids to be able to have a better start to life in school, and that’s something that we’re super proud of,” Chevron Australia’s general manager Deanne Renting said.
The Chevron Pilbara Ear Health Program is run by a team including screeners, audiologists and ear, nose and throat specialists who visit locations across the West Pilbara to conduct ear checks to identify any potential ear health issues.
