Chelsea’s players and staff have a celebratory huddle out on the pitch. It’s a lovely day out for Sonia Bompastor, her 50th WSL game producing a rampant win.

ShareFULL-TIME: Chelsea 6-2 Tottenham

I thought we were in for a tight one at half-time. Lauren James and Chelsea’s subs made sure otherwise.

90+3 min: Spurs concede six for the second game in a row.

Carpenter, Chelsea best player today after James, makes another smart run into the area, picks up the cutback and turns to fire home with her left foot once again.

Thompson rolls the ball out to Hamano, who decides to have a crack from range … the ball swerves to rattle the top right corner. It’s turned into a thrashing.

Hamano passes to Walsh by the edge of the area, who plays a brilliant first-time dink around the corner, picked up by Nüsken, who smashes past Kop. That should be the three points.

Share

Thompson was having a quiet afternoon, but she suddenly finds a boost, thundering down the left before cutting back into the area. Carpenter, so lively today, times her run perfectly and finds the net with her left boot.

HALF-TIME: Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham

Spurs have been excellent since conceding. We’ve got a very decent game on here.

Share

45 min: Spence decides to have a go from 30 yards out … heading over but not a bad effort at all.

Share

43 min: Spurs are playing with confidence, wheeling it around in midfield.

Share

Spence wins the ball in midfield and Holdt picks it up on the left. She lays it off to Blakstad, who crosses to the far post, where Vinberg leaps to head in the equaliser. Chelsea concede for just the second time this WSL season. Spurs deserved that.

39 min: Gaupset bursts through midfield for Spurs before the dangerous Holdt picks up inside the area. Spence makes an overlapping run, receives and cuts back … but a blue shirt is in the way. They’re really giving Chelsea a decent game here.

Share

37 min: Most of the game feels as if it’s being played down the Spurs left, Chelsea right. Carpenter whips in a teasing cross, but there’s no one there to finish.
