TRIPLE Eight’s finals-contending Ford Supercars will take on a fresh look for this weekend’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.
The #88 and #888 Red Bull Ampol Mustangs of Broc Feeney and Will Brown have added fluorescent yellow to their usual blue-and-red hues, bringing a splash of colour to what is forecast to be a dull weekend of weather at Surfers Paradise.
“Obviously with us, Red Bull have got a lot of brand guidelines and we generally don’t have a whole heap of change each year,” Brown told V8 Sleuth.
“This is the biggest change I’ve ever seen with Red Bull while I’ve been with them.

“It’s cool to see, it’s great to get the new summer edition can (Sudachi-Lime) on our livery and it’s Gold Coast: usually it’s sunny but it’s raining right now which is disappointing.
“But it’s cool.”
Feeney and Brown are the second and third seeds respectively, with only Grove Racing’s Matt Payne ranked higher.
