Vanessa Trump has taken to Instagram to announce she is cancer-free, five months after revealing her breast cancer diagnosis.
Trump, 48, the former wife of Donald Trump Jnr, with whom she shares five children, revealed the good news in a video posted to the Instagram account of her daughter, Kai.
The up-and-coming golfer, 19, took to her Instagram account overnight to share the news with her 3 million followers in a short clip ahead of a longer video she plans to share tomorrow to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in April,” Kai began. “And so we thought we would share her story on how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it.”
The clip then jumps to Vanessa Trump sharing the news that tests “came back clear, so I am finally cancer-free”, before the two embrace.
Kai uploaded the short clip with the comment, “October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about early detection, education, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
“I sat down with my mum and Dr Nicole Saphier to talk about my mum’s journey with breast cancer, and learn more about prevention and early detection.
“New video out tomorrow on YouTube! Join us for this important conversation and learn how we can take proactive steps toward our health.”
Vanessa, who is in a relationship with Tiger Woods, announced her cancer diagnosis in an Instagram post on May 21, 2026.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she said.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.
The following month, she updated her followers, telling them she was “recovering from surgery” and would be “starting the second stage of my treatment” soon.
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.
“Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express.”
Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jnr from 2005 to 2018. They share five children; Kai, Donald Trump III, Chloe, Tristan and Spencer.
She has been in a relationship with golfing superstar Tiger Woods since 2024, but they kept their relationship secret until March 2025, when Woods went Instagram official.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,” he wrote alongside two photos of the pair together.
“At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
At the time, a source told the New York Post: “They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents”.
But the relationship faced its first big test earlier this year when Woods was involved in a roll-over vehicle crash, which resulted in his arrest for drink-driving.
It was alleged Woods was behind the wheel of a vehicle on March 27 near his Florida home when he attempted to overtake a pressure cleaning truck at high speed. He narrowly avoided an oncoming vehicle, before clipping the truck he was overtaking and flipping his car.
He was arrested for showing “signs of impairment” and charged with drink-driving with property damage. He was held in jail for eight hours after allegedly refusing a urine test.
Trump reportedly read Woods the riot act over the incident, which saw his mugshot splashed across news outlets.
Woods later announced he would be “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health”.
“I appreciate your understanding and support and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
In September 2026, he agreed to a plea deal which saw him escape a reckless driving conviction but lost his licence for five years.
