Michael Clarke has slapped down a Lara Worthington rumour once and for all.
The former Australian Test captain has laughed off conspiracy theories about how his relationship with the Australian model ended in 2010.
Speaking on Sam Armytage’s s Act Two series, the 45-year-old was grilled about his personal life as he heads into the next chapter of his life returning to breakfast radio.
It was announced this week the former cricketer will be joining forces with Nathan Roye and Emma Chow as 2DayFM Breakfast’s latest line-up, beginning in 2027.

Clarke was incredibly put on the spot by Armytage and asked about bizarre speculation he flushed Worthington’s engagement ring down the toilet following their split in 2010.
Clarke and Bingle were engaged in 2008 and were among Australia’s most scrutinised couples.
It’s why there was such intense interest in how the relationship ended.
Former Sunrise host Armytage did not even make it through the question before Clarke shut it down.
“I’m asking for a friend because I have an old engagement ring that I’m not sure what to do with it,” Armytage said before Clarke responded: “No, I never flushed any ring down any toilet.
“Talk about completely made up, blatant lies, and people still believed it.”
The World Cup winner also shook his head at a follow up suggestion about journalists and a plumbing truck being parket out the front of his Bondi home.
“Oh my god. In the middle of Bondi, there’s a van that’s got a plumber sign on it,” he said in mock indignation.
“That must mean Michael Clark flushed a ring down a toilet. What a story.”
Worthington has been in married to actor Sam Worthington since 2014.
Clarke moved on from his relationship with Worthington and married Kyly Boldy in 2012.
They welcomed their daughter, Kelsey Lee in November 2015.
They privately separated in late 2019.
Clarke then dated fitness influencer Pip Edwards in 2020. Their relationship ended in 2021.
Clarke’s romantic life then returned to the front pages of newspapers when footage of him with ex-partner Jade Yarbrough went viral in 2023.
Public video appeared to show an argument at Noosa Park in Queensland where she reportedly accused Clarke of cheating on her before slapping him.
Clarke and current partner Arabella Sherbourne went public with their relationship in 2024.
The cricketer has repeatedly spoken publicly about his admiration for Sherbourne and how close she has become with his daughter.
He told Armytage: “I have 50 per cent custody of my daughter, so those seven days I have her is the best seven days of my life.
“You know, I don’t want to miss a day,” he said.
“She’s on school holidays now, for example. And you’re finding stuff to do [together]. But being a parent, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies, there’s tough days as well.
“I love that challenge. I love that I’ve got a little girl because that’s very different to when I think about me, as a boy growing up.”
