Our NBA best bets for Sunday, Oct. 25 target Luka Doncic points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander PRA and Anthony Edwards threes, with odds from DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM.

Sunday’s seven-game NBA slate is loaded with player prop value, and our NBA best bets and predictions for October 25 target three of the league’s most prolific scorers. With the 2026-27 season barely underway, established production, shot volume and matchup trends beat small-sample averages. We’re backing Luka Doncic‘s points over against a leaky Utah Jazz defense, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander‘s points-rebounds-assists over versus the Clippers, and Anthony Edwards‘ three-pointers made over against Toronto. Whether you’re building NBA DFS lineups, setting fantasy basketball rosters or hunting sportsbook value at DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM, here are the NBA picks and props to consider tonight.
NBA Best Bets and Predictions for Sunday, October 25
Here are three player props worth considering for Sunday’s action.
Los Angeles Lakers
vs. Utah Jazz
Luka Doncic Over 32.5 Points, -112 @ DraftKings
Doncic enters Sunday’s matchup averaging 25.5 points over two games, scoring 28 against Golden State and 23 against the Clippers. Despite those modest returns by his standards, his offensive involvement remains substantial. The Lakers guard has attempted 39 field goals and 20 three-pointers, but has converted just 38.5 percent of his shots, considerably below his 47.6 percent mark from 2025-26. Therefore, I’m backing the star floor general to provide a bounce-back performance Sunday.
Doncic led the NBA with 33.5 points per game last season, making his current scoring average particularly uncharacteristic. Utah presents an opportunity for improvement after finishing last season among the league’s weakest defensive teams while playing at one of its fastest paces. Even though it’s still early, Utah already ranks 21st in defensive rating this season. Doncic’s continued shot volume and favorable matchup support backing him to surpass 32.5 points for the first time this season.
Los Angeles Clippers
vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists, -110 @ FanDuel
Gilgeous-Alexander has had mixed results through Oklahoma City’s first two games. He opened the 2026-27 season with 32 points, six rebounds, and four assists against the Spurs on Tuesday, then posted “only” 17 points, two rebounds, and three assists against Denver, making it his first game with fewer than 20 points since October 2024.
His combined average of 32.0 points, rebounds and assists is below Sunday’s line, but he should be able to bounce back against a Clippers team that is currently playing at the 11th-fastest pace in the NBA. That should translate into plenty of opportunities for the two-time MVP winner to get involved. Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists last season, totaling 42.0 P+R+A per game, and he also surpassed 38.5 combined statistics in two of his last three meetings with the Clippers. The stage is set for a bounce-back effort here.
Toronto Raptors
vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Anthony Edwards Over 3.5 Three-Pointers Made, +110 @ BetMGM
Edwards has demonstrated exceptional perimeter volume through Minnesota’s first two games, attempting 26 three-pointers and converting 11, an average of 5.5 makes on 13.0 attempts per contest. He opened the campaign by going 9-for-17 against the Heat in a 45-point outburst, but he regressed against the Magic on Friday and went just 2-for-9 from beyond the arc. Still, one of Edwards’ biggest developments over the last two seasons has been his three-point shooting, as he shot 39.5 and 39.9 percent from deep in 2024-25 and 2025-26, respectively.
Edwards averaged 3.4 made three-pointers in the 2025-26 regular season, but his current volume provides a compelling foundation for reaching at least four — something he achieved in 29 different games in 2025-26 between the regular season and the playoffs. Toronto allowed 12.5 three-pointers per game in 2025-26, while Edwards has already attempted at least nine in both appearances this season. With that shot volume and a favorable matchup, I’m backing Edwards at plus-money this Sunday.
