With Silver, Silver-Am, and Am Cup titles all to be settled, a 30-strong grid will tackle the tricky historic circuit spread across seven manufacturers.
Method Motorsport’s Tom Hayman is out to continue his stranglehold on Silver Cup honours, chasing his third championship in just the third season of standalone GT4 racing.
Hayman combined with Carrera Cup racers Marcos Flack and Max Geoghegan for his 2024 and 2025 crowns this year partnered with Jett Murray, younger brother of Supercars racer Cooper.
Hunting Hayman and Murray down, however, is the sole Audi pairing of Blake Purdie and Supercars rookie Jobe Stewart.
The all-South Australian attack missed the season opener at Phillip Island with mechanical issues, but a win on home soil at The Bend and three more podium appearances have brought them to just 42 points shy of the leaders.
A further three points behind in third place and a dark horse for the crown are the rookie and the veteran, Blake Tracey and George Miedecke.
Miedecke has come tantalisingly close to the title for the last two seasons alongside Rylan Gray.
Having not finished higher than third this season, he and Tracey are free to go for gold on a track that could suit the Ford Mustang.
Former TCR racers Zac Soutar and Glenn Nirwan lead the way in the Silver-Am ranks holding just a two-point buffer over Ryder Quinn, with Dean Campbell a further three behind in third.
Having proved to be a highly competitive class, Soutar and Nirwan picked up their first ever win last time out in Race 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park, edging further up the standings with solid outings at critical moments.
Gomersall Motorsport’s Glenn Walker holds a 16-point advantage over the Method Motorsport pair of Chris Lillis and Nathan Callaghan in the Am Cup.
The two entries have swapped the lead throughout the season. However, Walker has been on a recent tear winning four out of the last five races and only finishing off the class podium once this season.
The finale will feature several new and returning faces throughout the field.

Perhaps the strangest addition to the field, swapping two wheels for four will be former superbike champion Marty Craggill, joined by state-based racer Tom Sandow.
The pair will race a Porsche 718 Cayman RS CS under the Team Soutar Motorsport banner.
Craggill notably won back-to-back Australian Superbike championships in 1997 and 1998 and made over 40 starts in WorldSBK, as well as starts in the 250cc and 500cc classes of MotoGP in the 1990s.
Sandow emerged recently in the track day scene, with his first race track experience coming just 18 months ago. This year he has gained experience in state-level events at Sandown and Phillip Island.
Reigning Silver-Am champion Jason Gomersall returns alongside Aaron Seton having missed the previous round in Sydney, substituted by now-Aussie Racing Cars champion Anthony Di Mauro.
The second Multispares Racing entry will once again be piloted by Toyota GR Scholarship champion Tyler Collins and veteran Adam Gowans with the pair out for redemption after a tough Sydney debut.
Former Carrera Cup driver Harrison Goodman steps aboard the #21 Ford Mustang alongside Jarrod Keyte bumping it back up into the Silver-Am Cup after Keyte contested several solo Am rounds.
Goodman makes his series debut ahead of a potential full-time move to the category for 2027 having raced in the United States in IMSA Pilot Challenge for two seasons.
