They haven’t always been pretty but Green and Renshaw are battling away and have taken their partnership past 50 after Green avoided going out after a reprieve from the third umpire a short time ago.
It feels like these two batters need to survive for the next period and take the remaining hardness off the ball, after that, there should be regular runs for them to come by – as long as the pitch keeps playing truly.
