Today’s announcement of the 44-man squad will be trimmed to 22 players on Thursday night.

Sydney Swans stars Brodie Grundy and Isaac Heeney have been rewarded for their outstanding seasons, named in the 2025 All Australian Squad of 44 players.

Grundy, in his second season in the red and white, was outstanding in the ruck averaging 20 disposals and 37 hit outs per game along with 6 score involvements.

Heeney, backing up his scintillating form from last season, makes the squad off the back of another outstanding campaign, booting 37 goals and averaging 24 disposals.

Both Grundy and Heeney are no stranger to the All-Australian team, having both been selected twice previously in their careers (Grundy 2018, 2019 and Heeney 2022, 2024).

Today’s announcement of the 44-man squad will be trimmed to 22 players on Thursday night, when the final team will be named at the AFL Awards.
