CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University football will open the 2026 season at West Virginia, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation Chance Miller announced.
 
The Chanticleers and Mountaineers will play at Milan-Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026.
 
The teams have met once before, a win by then No. 24 WVU on Sept. 4, 2010, in Morgantown.
 
The 2025 edition of the Chanticleers are preparing for the season opener at Virginia on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET on ACC Network and the Chanticleer Sports Network.
