BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU men’s golf head coach Austin King has announced the team’s 2025-26 schedule. The slate consists of 11 total tournaments, including the Conference USA Championship in April. The Hilltoppers will play five tournaments in the fall and six in the spring.
The Hilltoppers will open the season in Ruston, Louisiana for the second straight year to play in the Argent Financial Classic Sept. 7-9, hosted by Louisiana Tech. The Tops will take a three-week break from action before closing out September at the Virtues Intercollegiate hosted by Miami (Ohio) Sept. 29-30.
WKU will play in three tournaments in October, starting off with the Cullan Brown Invitational hosted by Kentucky. It will be the second straight season the Hilltoppers will play in the tournament. The event runs Oct. 6-7. From there, the Tops will play in the Purdue Fall Invitational Oct. 13-14 for the third straight season. To close out the fall, WKU will play in the Furman Intercollegiate on Oct. 18-19. It is the second straight season the Hilltoppers will play in the tournament, finishing in fifth last season. It will be the ninth time overall WKU has played in the tournament.
The spring gets started with the Lone Star Shootout hosted by UTSA Feb. 23-24. WKU will participate in the Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State (March 16-18) for the second straight season and for the sixth overall time. Play in March continues with the Austin Peay Invitational on March 23-24. It’s the first time the Tops will play in the tournament since 2013.
The Hilltoppers will travel south to play in the Mason Rudoplh Intercollegiate hosted by Vanderbilt April 3-5. It’s the first time WKU has played the event since 2022, and it will be the sixth time overall. For the third straight season, the Tops will play in the Mountaineer Invitational hosted by West Virginia April 12-13. WKU finished third in the tournament in 2024.
The CUSA Championship will be April 27-30 in Texarkana, Texas.
