Andrew Tate’s return to the ring for his first Misfits Boxing bout is reportedly almost signed, with an announcement potentially on board for this weekend’s event.
Controversial influencer Tate is currently knee-deep in legal issues, but has been training regularly since being allowed to leave Romania back in February. He was spotted at a UFC event in Las Vegas the following month, and has been in something of a camp in Dubai since.
Now, according to Ariel Helwani’s Uncrowned, Tate is within touching distance of finally returning to the ring for the first time in five years. He was a multiple-time kickboxing champion before finding international infamy for his divisive views and social media videos.
Andrew Tate reportedly closing in on Misfits Boxing return
According to Uncrowned, Andrew Tate is currently in final talks for a fight at heavyweight under the Misfits Boxing banner. The British-American influencer is one of the most famous men on the planet, or perhaps infamous given his self-styled ‘misogynist influencer’ reputation.
According to Helwani’s report, the official announcement of a fight and opponent could come as soon as this Saturday night during the event headlined by Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold. Bloody Elbow understands that the fight could take place in Dubai or the United States.
Before finding fame online, both Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate were kickboxers with varying levels of success. The elder sibling won four titles he calls ‘world championships’ across ISKA and Enfusion while his younger brother was a European champion.
Andrew Tate has had multiple offers for fighting return
This is not the first time that Tate has had a serious offer to get back in the ring since finding fame. He suffered with eye issues before hanging up the gloves, and lost his last serious Enfusion bout due to an injury that forced him to quit in the first round.

Bloody Elbow understands that just before his December 2022 arrest, Tate was in talks to be one of Floyd Mayweather’s opponents for his exhibition boxing world tour. However, that fell through and the legendary fighter went on to face Aaron Chalmers.
Then earlier this year, there was a $22million offer made to Tate’s business partner Tam Khan for him to face Russian social media star Tamaaev. The influencer is best known for introducing the world to Hasbulla and Abdu Rozik many years ago.
