Livinia Nixon turned heads on Thursday at a\u00a0Chemist Warehouse event in Melbourne<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Hey Hey It’s Saturday and Getaway star looked sensational as she posed on the red carpet, sharing a gallery of images to Instagram.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old TV veteran\u00a0flaunted her trim pins and slender figure in a colourful mini frock emblazoned with a floral print.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She added to her look with a pair of beige pumps with gold detailing, and wore her signature\u00a0blonde locks in an effortless wave.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In another frame, Livinia was all smiles\u00a0as she posed on a polka dot sunlounger.<\/p>\n

‘That was one to remember, thanks @chemistwarehouseaus,’ she captioned the post.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne event, dubbed the CW hotel, showcased all the retail brands currently on offer at the chain store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Livinia made headlines in 2020 when she revealed that she\u00a0hid from her own children in the laundry room to ‘have some space’ during the COVID-19 lockdowns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a blog for nine.com.au, she explained that while some moments during the pandemic ‘were delightful’, others ended in tears.<\/p>\n

‘We’ve all coped differently and we’ve all managed the stress in different ways,’ she wrote.<\/p>\n

‘Some moments were delightful (cooking with the kids, lying in the park and watching the clouds drift by).<\/p>\n

‘Other days involved hiding in the laundry to have some space, or watching my kids cry after telling them that after months of confinement, the lockdown was to be extended.’<\/p>\n

Livinia shares two children, Henry, 15, and Ted, 12, with her husband, property developer Alastair Jack.<\/p>\n

Livinia made headlines in 2020 when she revealed that she hid from her own children in the laundry room to ‘have some space’ during the Covid-19 lockdowns<\/p>\n

The familiar TV face first appeared on screens 46 years ago.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Herald Sun of her long-standing career, she said it all started with an advert.<\/p>\n

‘I was four when I first appeared on camera. I was the Granny Davis (bread) girl,’ she told the publication.<\/p>\n

She went on to reveal that a friend of her family’s was the director and when one of the girls who had been cast for the commercial got sick, she was called in as a last-minute replacement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘All I had to do was eat party food and have fun.’<\/p>\n
