The 41-year-old is hoping to snap the historic eight-fight losing streak<\/a> that ended his UFC career, but some fans are concerned he could get seriously hurt during KSI<\/a>\u2018s latest combat sports event.<\/p>\n Tony Ferguson<\/a> insists he\u2019s feeling \u2018f\u2014ing phenomenal\u2019 ahead of his fight with Salt Papi. <\/p>\n The lightweight legend responded bluntly when a recent MMA Junkie interview turned to fans expressing concern for his safety. <\/p>\n \u201cNo,\u201d Ferguson said when asked if he\u2019s concerned for his health after eight losses in a row. <\/p>\n He added: \u201cIt was the hardest four to five years I\u2019ve ever had, which f\u2014ing sucked. I never smiled. It was terrible. But you guys never saw that, and I\u2019m glad you guys never saw that because my family never saw that. <\/p>\n \u201cYou guys will never see me injured. You guys will never see me hurt. I\u2019ll never show it, and I\u2019ll never put it on my face because you guys will just never f\u2014ing know. That\u2019s the magic part of me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSometimes I need resets, and it takes a hard knock like that for me to be able to be reset, and here we are, we\u2019re boxing. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been listening to my coaches, and I have my training partners show up, then making sure we\u2019re getting our rounds in, making sure I\u2019m doing my extra credit, making sure I\u2019m not over-doing things. Making sure that I\u2019m showing up. When that goes into it, I don\u2019t have to say I\u2019m sharp. I don\u2019t have to do that.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel good, man. I feel excellent. I probably should be feeling miserable like half of these other motherf\u2014ers, but I\u2019m not.
