It was a difficult night at the office for one UFC veteran and former Bellator champion at Dirty Boxing 3.<\/p>\n
The third event put on by the Dirty Boxing Championship took place Friday night in Miami, Florida. The promotion was founded by BKFC star Mike Perry and is co-owned by UFC GOAT contender Jon Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n 11 fighters who formerly competed on mixed martial arts\u2019 biggest stage took to the ring at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour, where a number of finishes and memorable moments took place. That included Jairzinho Rozenstruik\u2019s brutal finish in the main event and a bizarre brawl between a fighter and Dirty Boxing security guard<\/a>.<\/p>\n The quickest finish of the night came in the co-headliner, which saw the latest combat sports outing for 49-fight MMA vet Hector Lombard. Many have called for the 47-year-old Cuban to retire, and those pleas have only gotten louder after what happened on August 29.<\/p>\n Hector Lombard instantly finished by fighter with a losing record at Dirty Boxing 3<\/p>\n The last time Lombard<\/a> was in action, the ex-Bellator middleweight champion was throwing pillows instead of fists.<\/p>\n A couple of years on from his last mixed martial arts outing, which was a victory under the banner of Jorge Masvidal\u2019s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA, Lombard beat Cheick Kongo at Pillow Fight Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Cuban star was given a rude welcome back to actual fighting, as 9-10 MMA pro James Cannon upset the odds to finish him in brutal fashion after just 19 seconds at DBX 3.<\/p>\n Lombard and Cannon instantly swung wild haymakers at one another, and it was the latter who connected cleanly first.
