GKIDS<\/a> to offer screenings in original Japanese, English dubbed versions<\/p>\n

GKIDS<\/a> announced on Sunday that it will release the Jujutsu Kaisen<\/a>: Execution compilation film<\/a> in North America on December 5. The screenings will be available in the original Japanese and English dubbed versions. <\/p>\n

The film, known as Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins in Japan, will be a compilation of the second season’s “Shibuya Incident,” along with the first two episodes of the third season (before the season premieres in January).<\/p>\n

The first Jujutsu Kaisen television anime season premiered in October 2020, and it had<\/a> 24 episodes. <\/p>\n

The Jujutsu Kaisen 0<\/a> anime film opened<\/a> in Japan in December 2021, and it opened<\/a> with English subtitles and with an English dub<\/a> in the U.S. and Canada in March 2022.<\/p>\n

The second season premiered on July 6, 2023 on MBS<\/a> and TBS<\/a> and 28 affiliated channels. Crunchyroll<\/a> streamed<\/a> the second season as it aired in Japan in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The company is also streaming<\/a> an English dub.<\/p>\n

The second season aired for two cours<\/a> (quarters of a year) for a continuous half-year run. The anime adapts both the “Hidden Inventory \/ Premature Death” (“Kaigyoku\/Gyokusetsu”) arc and the “Shibuya Incident” arc of Gege Akutami<\/a>‘s original manga. The “Hidden Inventory \/ Premature Death” arc aired from July 6 through August 3, 2023, and then the show aired two compilation episodes on August 10 and 17, 2023. The “Shibuya Incident” arc started on August 31 and consisted of 18 episodes.<\/p>\n

Gege Akutami launched<\/a> the manga in Shueisha<\/a>‘s Weekly Shonen Jump<\/a> magazine in March 2018. Viz Media<\/a> is publishing the manga digitally and in print, and Shueisha is also publishing the manga digitally on its MANGA Plus<\/a> service.<\/p>\n
