Conor McGregor has sent a message of support to Dillon Danis ahead of his comeback. <\/p>\n

The former dual-weight UFC champion\u2019s old sparring partner hasn\u2019t fought since being disqualified from his boxing debut against Logan Paul<\/a> in October 2023. <\/p>\n

Dillon Danis\u2019<\/a> MMA hiatus dates back to June 2019, when he improved to 2-0 in the sport with an armbar submission win over Max Humphrey at Bellator 222. <\/p>\n

A knee injury curtailed the prospect\u2019s promising career, which he will try to get back on track next month. <\/p>\n

On Sunday, it was announced that Dillon Danis will face Warren Spencer in a light heavyweight MMA title fight on August 30. <\/p>\n

Their clash will take place on a Misfits card, which will see Darren Till box Luke Rockhold<\/a> and Tony Ferguson make his debut<\/a> in the squared circle. <\/p>\n

Danis\u2019 first MMA bout in six years will be historic, as it will see KSI<\/a>\u2018s promotion venture away from boxing for the first time. <\/p>\n

McGregor, who previously turned down a fight with KSI<\/a>, is looking forward to watching his pal return to winning ways during the YouTuber\u2019s latest event. <\/p>\n

\u201cNow begins the reign over these f\u2014in Misfits. Let\u2019s go, brother,\u201d he wrote on his Instagram story<\/a> alongside a picture of the Danis vs. Spencer fight poster. <\/p>\n

Conor McGregor\u2019s business partner provided comeback update <\/p>\n

McGregor hasn\u2019t fought since breaking his leg during a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier<\/a> in July 2021. <\/p>\n

\u2018Notorious\u2019 recently revived comeback hopes by expressing an interest in fighting on the UFC White House card<\/a>, which will take place on Independence Day 2026. <\/p>\n

After years of listening to McGregor talk up his return, fans take everything he says with a pinch of salt. <\/p>\n

However, BKFC boss Dave Feldman thinks his business partner is serious about fighting at the White House.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got two [UFC] fights left on his contract, and he\u2019s got to get right,\u201d Feldman said last week. <\/p>\n

The whole world\u2019s waiting. Is he going to get in shape and fight?<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he told me in person, he whispered in my ear, \u2018I\u2019m in the testing pool, I\u2019m getting ready to make my comeback. I\u2019m going to fight on that [White House] card, then I\u2019m going to have another fight, and then we can talk.\u2019 That\u2019s what he said.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
