Daniel Monaghan, Senior Vice President, Content & Programming at Paramount Australia & New Zealand has resigned from the network, rumoured to be joining Binge.<\/p>\n
He has been with Network 10 since 2008 in top Programming roles since 2015. He was appointed Paramount\u2019s Senior Vice President, Content and Programming in June 2021.<\/p>\n
During that time 10 has undergone significant change, as part of an evolving Free to Air landscape, including ownership changes with CBS and Paramount.<\/p>\n
10 has screened a number of successful franchises across this period including Australian Survivor, Have You Been Paying Attention?, MasterChef Australia, The Cheap Seats, Gogglebox, I\u2019m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here,\u00a0 NCIS: Sydney, The Masked Singer, The Bachelor and The Amazing Race Australia. It will soon return to Big Brother and Talkin\u2019 \u2018Bout Your Gen, with speculation The Traitors will return.<\/p>\n
Paramount+ has also launched during this time with a number of Australian commissions.<\/p>\n
But there have also been axings that have alarmed audiences this year including The Project and Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPaglia, whilst 10 News+ has struggled in its early evening slot.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Binge has seen both Alison Hurbert-Burns and Wendy Moore depart the streamer this year, yet to formally announce a replacement for Moore.<\/p>\n
Last week Stan\u2019s commissioning exec Amanda Duthie resigned to join Netflix.<\/p>\n
