Last season, the 25-year-old posted a sparkling 26-8-5 record, a 2.05 goals-against average, and a .927 save percentage in the AHL. His performance earned him the Aldege \u201cBaz\u201d Bastien Memorial Award as the league\u2019s top goaltender, cementing his reputation as one of the best netminders outside the NHL.<\/p>\n

While DiPietro represents upside, Nico Daws brings proven NHL experience. The Devils\u2019 24-year-old netminder has appeared in 52 NHL games, recording a 22-23-1 record with a 2.98 GAA and .898 save percentage.
