Actress Chloe Grace Moretz is married.<\/p>\n

The star, who rose to fame with early roles in Desperate Housewives and movie Kick-Ass, 28, has tied the knot with photographer girlfriend Kate Harrison, 34, on the US Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n

Labor Day \u2014 celebrated on September 1 this year \u2014 is a federal holiday honouring the American labour movement and workers\u2019 contributions in the United States.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s wedding, after seven years of dating, was profiled by US Vogue<\/a> magazine.<\/p>\n

Moretz\u2019s powder blue gown was designed by Louis Vuitton and featured opera gloves, while Harrison opted for a similar glamorous gown, only in white, for the couple\u2019s big day.<\/p>\n

\u201cA big part of the wedding is sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that\u2019s going to be there,\u201d the actress told the publication, confirming the nuptials had occurred this past weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, there\u2019s fishing, horseback riding and poker. Kate made a custom poker mat herself, so we\u2019re going to kind of be leaning into it. Our second day (of the wedding) is going to be line dancing and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

About the dress, Moretz added: \u201cI never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like I knew I would do something non-traditional and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moretz combined an old Hollywood style along with more personal touches to celebrate their wedding.<\/p>\n

Vogue took photos at the Louis Vuitton atelier in Paris as the brides had the final fitting of their gowns.<\/p>\n

For the after-party, Moretz wore a white custom jacket and trousers which she paired with a cowboy hat.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Harris wore a bodice and trousers with a sheer overlay on top that featured thin metallic spaghetti straps.<\/p>\n

Moretz and Harrison have largely kept their personal life out of the public eye.<\/p>\n

The actress came out as gay in November last year, while endorsing Kamala Harris for president.<\/p>\n

Moretz confirmed their engagement during an Instagram photo dump on New Year\u2019s Eve last year, showcasing their brilliant-cut diamond engagement rings.<\/p>\n
