Cameron Murray has been named to return on the interchange bench, with Euan Aitken also returning as 18th man.<\/p>\n<p>Round 27 is the second leg of the Ron Coote Cup for the 2025 season, a trophy named in honour of Rugby League\u2019s 14th Immortal and South Sydney and Eastern Suburbs legend, Ron Coote AM. <\/p>\n<p>Mr Coote won six premierships and played in nine Grand Finals during his 15 seasons playing first grade with both clubs. The Ron Coote Cup is played across both home and away fixtures in any given season, with the winner determined by the aggregate score from those two regular season matches. <\/p>\n<p>2025 is the 19th season in which the Ron Coote Cup has been played, with both clubs having held the Cup on nine occasions each. The Rabbitohs hold a six-point lead in 2025, courtesy of a 20-14 victory over the Roosters in round five earlier this season.<\/p>\n<p>The South Sydney Rabbitohs\u2019 squad for Friday\u2019s Ron
