Storm star Harry Grant received a notice from the NRL days before he gave away a crucial penalty for the exact same infringement the notice was for, it has been revealed.<\/p>\n

In Saturday\u2019s loss to Manly, Grant was pinged in the dying minutes<\/a> for running into the leg of Luke Brooks as the playmaker attempted a field goal. <\/p>\n

The field goal was unsuccessful, but the Sea Eagles received the penalty for Grant\u2019s infringement.<\/p>\n

Manly took the two points on offer with Reuben Garrick kicking the game-winning goal to complete a massive upset win.<\/p>\n

Grant has form in this department. Saturday night\u2019s incident was the third time he has been penalised for such an infraction. <\/p>\n

In fact, Grant was served with a warning from the NRL because of an incident the week prior in a game against Newcastle.<\/p>\n

According to Code Sports, <\/a>Grant received a concerning act notice after running into the leg of Knights half Jack Cogger.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t penalised, nor was Grant charged, but it didn\u2019t escape the NRL\u2019s notice.<\/p>\n

Players generally receive concerning act notices for incidents that aren\u2019t serious enough to warrant a charge from the match review committee.<\/p>\n

Grant has been sin binned for such an act in the past.
