Rigetti Computing, Inc. (Nasdaq: RGTI)<\/a> has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)<\/a>, India\u2019s R&D organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology<\/a>. The collaboration aims to explore the co-development of hybrid quantum computing systems to support government laboratories and academics pursuing quantum computing research and development in India.<\/p>\n C-DAC, which is the nodal agency for the Government of India\u2019s ChipIN<\/a> initiative, brings expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. The partnership is a strategic step toward developing indigenous cryogenic electronics, superconducting quantum hardware, and securing access to advanced processor fabrication. Rigetti and C-DAC intend to collaborate on the design and development of hybrid quantum computing systems, use case and application workflow development, and workforce development activities.<\/p>\n The collaboration is positioned to drive advancements in electronics and information technology, particularly in quantum and hybrid computing, and contribute to the nation\u2019s technological progress.
