A wrestling icon<\/a> has revealed a touching gesture from Taylor Swift<\/a> when his family needed it the most.<\/p>\n

Jeff Jarrett, 58, is a family friend of the singer’s parents, and told TMZ Sports<\/a>Swift once played a private three-hour concert for his late wife.<\/p>\n

At the time, his wife Jill was battling breast cancer and Swift<\/a> performed at their home.<\/p>\n

“It was Christmas of 2006. My first wife [Jill] was really ill with breast cancer,” he told the media outlet.<\/p>\n

“She passed away about five months after this, so she was really ill.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“She came over… By the end of the afternoon, Taylor played about three hours… there was probably 35-45 people.”\ufeff<\/p>\n

Jarrett said the pop star also used to bake cookies with his kids when she lived in Hendersonville, Tennessee, in the early days of her career.<\/p>\n

“I get emotional saying this, she kind of bonded with the family, specifically with the girls,” he said.<\/p>\n

“When my wife passed away, Taylor would come around, and was really good with the girls.”<\/p>\n
