Jamie Carragher<\/a> has pointed out a supposed issue with Alejandro Garnacho<\/a> following the former Manchester United<\/a> winger’s \u00a340million move to Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Garnacho had been part of the Red Devils’ Bomb Squad this summer, alongside Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho<\/a> and Tyrell Malacia.<\/p>\n

After a falling out with Ruben Amorim<\/a>, in which Daily Mail Sport exclusively revealed the Portuguese said Garnacho had to\u00a0‘pray’<\/a> he would be able to find a new club, the 21-year-old sought out a move and got just that on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He is yet to play for the Blues, joining too late to play a part in their win over Fulham<\/a> on Saturday, but was in the stands at Stamford Bridge to take in the action.<\/p>\n

But he didn’t seem to have eyes on just the game, however. He was, at various points, seen looking elsewhere, and that was something Carragher picked up on.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Sky Sports<\/a> when asked to rate summer signings as a hit or a miss, Carragher raised the issue and explained why he couldn’t ‘stand it’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pundit pointed out how the \u00a340million man was on his phone will in the stands in London<\/p>\n

‘You know what I didn’t like?’ Carragher began. ‘Did you see the game [against Fulham], when they go to the people in the stands and they are on their phones with the game going on?<\/p>\n

‘I can’t stand it. And it’s not just him by the way, but I can’t stand it. So it’s a miss for that. For sitting on his phone during an important game for Chelsea.’<\/p>\n

Keane, meanwhile, said: ‘I’m undecided on that one. I’m not convinced.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The fee involved in the transfer made Garnacho the most expensive academy graduate sale in United’s history, eclipsing the \u00a324.5m received for David Beckham in 2003.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old winger has agreed a seven-year contract with the Blues after passing a medical on Friday. United have inserted a 10 per cent sell-on clause in the sale agreement.<\/p>\n

His first opportunity to suit up in his new colours will come on September 13 when Chelsea travel to west London rivals Brentford.<\/p>\n

Upon signing, Garnacho said: ‘It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started.<\/p>\n

‘I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special \u2013 we’re the best team in the world!<\/p>\n

‘It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.’<\/p>\n
